    This is just the same as all other metal plunger/claw pick-up tools. The only difference is that this is the rarely-found 36 inch variety. I bought this because I needed the length to get into a very difficult spot. For the couple of dollars this unit cost me, it worked exceptionally well. I recommend it highly whether you need it now or later.
