Back in my mid-twenties, I was a professional tin smith at a sheet metal shop. I fabricated everything from custom hot air fittings, to custom range hoods for restaurants, to tool boxes. During my several years in the business I used this riveter exclusively. It is easily adjustable, and virtually indestructible. This is the ‘adult version’ riveter as compared to the junky toys you find at Lowe’s or Home Depot.

I am a union carpenter who does a lot of suspended ceilings, and used a cheap Home Depot Arrow brand riveter for a while. Then it was time to upgrade when it was sometimes taking 3 pulls to pop a rivet. With this Malco riveter, you can adjust it either for a soft pull, or power pull. I have it set up to pop a 1/8″ rivet with 1 pull, and it has never failed. I love this thing.
