We all know the old adage, “Use the right tool for the job”.
Myself, I’ve often made-do, with various results. Screwdriver for getting weeds out of between bricks, a penny to undo a screw, a kitchen spoon to put in daffodil bulbs.
But what I’ve found is that tools designed for a particular job will often do that job faster and better. And sometimes a penny won’t budge the damn screw. Besides which, I really like tools. I’m a sucker for hardware stores.
